The Career District is proud to announce its first Open House, celebrating the opening of the first building in a growing campus designed to connect education, workforce development, and community support under one roof.
Join us on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, as we open the doors to the community and introduce guests to two organizations helping Clevelanders build brighter futures: Central School of Practical Nursing and Youth Opportunities Unlimited.
Explore the newly transformed space, meet students and staff, and see how the Career District is creating a collaborative hub where organizations can share resources, strengthen services, and expand access to education and career opportunities.
Guests will enjoy:
- An official ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of the Career District’s first building
- Guided opportunities to explore Central School of Practical Nursing and Youth Opportunities Unlimited
- Live demonstrations inside the school’s student medical and nursing labs
- Conversations with students, instructors, staff, community partners, and Career District leaders
- Refreshments and small bites from local vendors
- A first look at the Career District’s larger vision for workforce growth, community connection, and economic opportunity
- Additional activities, demonstrations, and surprises throughout the evening
