This forum is for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their circles of support to learn about shared living services available in Johnson County and get questions answered from local providers.
Shared Living is a nationally recognized residential services model for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS). In Shared Living, one or two Participants share a home with a family or single adult (the Contractor). The Participant lives with the Contractor who provides supports for them in accordance with their Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP) and in compliance with Article 63. A Licensed Residential Provider trains and provides ongoing support for the Contractor.
