It’s been around five years since I last played in Melbourne, so I’m very excited to finally be coming back!
On Sunday 11 October, I’ll be bringing Johnny Law & The Pistol Packin’ Daddies to Thornbury Bowling Club for three full sets of 1950s-inspired rockabilly, rock ’n’ roll and old-school country.
Since my last Melbourne visit, I’ve headlined the Crank It Up Festival in Batemans Bay and the Rock ’n’ Roll Jamboree in Sydney, as well as performing four shows at Cooly Rocks On on the Gold Coast.
I’ll once again be joined by guitarist Josh Angus, who played with me at Cooly Rocks On and brings a heap of energy to the live show.
Expect Johnny Law originals, carefully chosen classics, driving double bass, twangy guitar and plenty of music for the dance floor. I’m also aiming to have a brand-new EP ready in time for the event.
