A beloved presence on the Twin Cities music scene, the singer and entertainer Johnnie Brown has a way of capturing the soul and sound of some of the most iconic black male vocalists to top the R&B charts in America.

One of his most symbiotic musical connections is with the incomparable Barry White, whose lush bass voice and sultry delivery positively defined the free-loving ‘70s.

With a band packed with A-list talent led by Taylor Hamilton, and back-up vocals by Ms Arnise and Aja Parham, Johnnie takes us into the inner sanctum of the 2-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer, who first broke onto the scene in 1972 with his 40-piece Love Unlimited Orchestra. Like White, who sang his frothy love ballads as if you were about to fall into his ample embrace, Johnnie is ready to show us the love.
