Leading Texas historian Stephen L. Hardin draws on the accounts of the Runaways themselves to relate a tale of high stakes and great sorrow in his newest book, Texian Exodus. Dr. Hardin is a retired professor of history, previously at McMurry University in Abilene and at Victoria College.
