John Snow College Undergraduate Sign Up for the Welcome Formals

John Snow College fresher students are warmly invited to attend a Welcome Formal.

This formal is free of charge.

Group A will be Tuesday1st October 2024

Group B Thursday 3rd October 2024

Please note that due to event venue capacities, students will be divided into Group A, Group B and Group C. Students living in College will have their group allocations posted in the kitchen of your flat, undergraduate students living in Ernest Place and outside of College are part of Group B, postgraduate students are Group C.

Bookings for this event will close on Monday 23rd September.

Menu:

Herb crusted breast of chicken with spring onion croquet, carrot and anise purée,tender stem broccoli and tarragon jusor (meat option)

or

Butternut squash, butter bean and spring onion, carrot and anise purée,tender stem broccoli, roasted sweet potato and tarragon sauce (v)

Desert

Baked vanilla and strawberry cheesecake with strawberry puréeand macerated strawberries

Location: Mount Oswald HUB

Time: 18.00- please be seated by 17.55.

Dress Code: Formal dress, plus GOWN (please note gowns are mandatory).

Entertainment: After dinner, there will be a Cèilidh Band!

Wine and Elderflower Presse will be available to purchase in The Igloo before the Formal.
