About this Event
Brace yourself as one of the finest UK-based improv comics obliterates the fourth wall with his newest hour of stand-up and songs.
Since starting his pro comedy career at The Laugh Resort in 2003, and infamously pranking TVs Australian Idol, Mr John Robertson has travelled the world with his uniquely wild and chaotic comedy; enjoying sold out festival seasons and having headlined the comedy tent at Glastonbury.
The Human Hurricane comes to Perth for one unforgettable performance following a colossal run in Edinburgh this year (alongside John's live interactive comedy game/show The Dark Room) where it was listed in the British Comedy Guide's Top 10 Best-Reviewed Shows of Edinburgh Fringe 2024.
Armed only with an electric ukulele and a brain that burns with all the fire of undiagnosed theatre student ADHD, John will play with the crowd, sing some filthy songs, then deliver a poem to apologise.
Sitting in the front row isn’t scary. Life is scary.
The Human Hurricane is simply the work of a rock star clown with a goal to unite us all.
Grab this rare chance to see 'Robbotron' (as Twitch-ers know him), while he's home for his mum's birthday, performing this special one-off to make the trip tax-deductible!
Bookings highly recommended as seating's unreserved & shows often sell out. Plus, there are NO fees AND booking puts you in October's draw to WIN a $50 food & bevvie voucher from host venue The Shoe Bar & Cafe.
Door sales (if not sold out prior) from 6.30pm. Meals & snacks are available in the adjacent main bar prior to show time.
