Marine on St. Croix resident John Niemann will be playing a solo show at 3 Arrows Coffee in St. Croix Falls on Saturday, February 8 from 1-3 p.m.John is singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He played with the Middle Spunk Creek Boys when he was in his teens, followed by two non-consecutive tours of duty in the Twin Cities premier bluegrass band, Stoney Lonesome. He has toured with Peter Ostroushko and the Mando Boys, with whom he recorded two albums; performed in local country and blues bands; and was a regular stand-in with the Guys All Star Shoe Band on A Prairie Home Companion.
John is currently performing with King Wilkie's Dream, the Pale Ales and other musical groups around the Twin Cities area.
