John Macaluso is one of the most respected drummers in rock. He has played on more than 200 albums, including on the highly acclaimed Ark albums.
John's long standing and highly credited career includes some of rock and metal's biggest names, such as Yngwie Malmsteen, TNT, Riot, Ark, Symphony X, James LaBrie(Dream Theater), Jennifer Batten(Michael Jackson, Jeff Beck), and many many more. John is a Graduate of Musician’s Institute P.I.T. California, and has studied under some of drummings biggest names, including Frank Zappas drummer Ralph Humphrey, Joe Franco, Rod Morgenstein and Tommy Aldrigde.
John has taught around the world in many schools, institutes, and colleges for over 35+ years. Johns OFF THE RECORD, is a unique show, not only for drummers but for anyone that shares a love and interest for music and storytelling. John will not only perform songs from his long-standing career, but every song and experience comes with a story, and we promise you that at these shows, you will get never-heard-before stories from touring, recording and living with some of the greatest artists that have put their thumbprint on the history of music.
