We are excited to present the 10th Annual Fall Marathon. This year, we skate to remember our teammate John Hanevy and raise funds for Washington Area Roadskaters.

On-Site Registration & Check-In: 8:00 AM
Event Start: 9:00 AM
Location: Indian Head Rail Trail (White Plains End)
Distance: 26-miles, 13.1-miles or 10K
Awards: Top 3 Overall & Top 3 in each Division for Men and Women for the Marathon and Half Marathon and Finishers Awards for all participants
AGE CATEGORIES
Junior 14-18, Senior 19-24, Classic 25-34, Master 35-44, Veteran 45-54, Grand Veteran 55-64, Esquire 65-74, Grand Esquire 75+
REGISTRATION
– Rollerblade® 10K Challenge: FREE
– Marathon & Half Marathon:
$45.00 register before July 1st
$55.00 register before September 1st
$65.00 register before noon on October 3rd
$75.00 on-site registration
Note: To keep costs down, this is not a chipped time event.
COURSE
The course is on the Indian Head Rail Trail which is 13 miles long. The start and finish will be at the White Plains end of the trail and the turn around will be at the other end at Mattingly Avenue. There are intersections to cross to please be prepared to stop for traffic! There are bathrooms near the start/finish line & 4 portable toilets along the trail.

EVENT REQUIREMENTS
Time Limit: All participants need to complete their distance in less than 3 hours
Eligibility – All participants must be at least 14 years of age.
Waiver – All skating participants must check in and complete a waiver prior to skating.
Drafting & Etiquette – Cross-gender drafting is permitted. All skaters are requested to skate in the right side of the trail to allow for incident free passing by cyclists.
Event Number – All participants must wear their event number on their left thigh and hand in the tear tag when finishing.
Protective Equipment – All participants are required to wear a helmet and wrist protection. Knee and elbow pads are recommended.
Personal Hydration – It is recommended that all participants bring their own personal hydration system (e.g. water bottle or Camelbak) or have supporters available to hand you water bottles.
