Terry Jones was appointed NFU Director General in 2016 and leads a team of 750 staff, working closely the organisations elected farmer spokespeople. His time in office has seen him work on no deal Brexit planning, food chain’s Covid response and campaign to overturn the Government’s changes to the IHT regime.

He has bought a wealth of experience to the role having worked at the Food & Drink Federation and the Provision Trade Federation as well as being involved with the Specialist Cheesemakers’ Association.
