John Atwell, a distinguished internationally renowned organist, brings his unique flair and expertise to Saltaire for a performance that promises to be unforgettable. His programme will be one of broad musical variety, drawing on selections from the stage and screen as well as music from the pen of Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse. There will also be selections from the pen of Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman, as well as a special tribute to the musical collaborations of the famed lyricist, Johnny Mercer. To round out the variety, there will be selections with a Viennese flavour from the pen of Fritz Kreisler and Johann Strauss snr, as well as a few further selections to get your foot tapping.
