Join us for the 5th annual Joey's Journey Golf Outing!Keaton Jackson was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma (a soft tissue cancer) in March of 2019 just shy of his 8th birthday. He went through a year and a half of treatment consisting of chemotherapy, surgery and radiation. He was declared cancer free in August of 2020. He had scans every 3 months per the protocol and in April 2022 found out the cancer had returned. He then went through another 10 months of treatment with chemotherapy and radiation. He had no evidence of disease as of April 2023 and again had surveillance scans every 3 months. This year in March Keaton and his family found out yet again the cancer had returned. He had surgery to remove the upper lobe of his right lung where the cancer had returned. He is currently in treatment receiving chemotherapy at Riley Hospital and will also receive radiation therapy in Cincinnati on an area discovered near his pancreas. Keaton will be starting 8th grade this year. He enjoys fishing, baseball, camping, and hanging out with his family.
Keaton and his family live near Brazil, Indiana and he attends Clay City Jr./Sr. High School.
