Our friend needs our help! Become one of Joe’s Support Crew!!
Joe Spannbauer, our friend and sound guy at Route 47 forever, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and it's metastasizing into his liver. And he's also got cancer in his brain. He's got a fight ahead of him, to say the least.
We're having a Benefit Bike Run for Joe on September 6th. Meet and register at Route 47 ($20 cash or card per bike to be collected at registration) anytime between 9am and 11:45am, kickstands up at noon. Breakfast will be served (on your dime) from 8am to noon. For y’all that want to join the ride in progress, we’ll have wristbands all along the way. We'll be stopping at Bradford Pub n Grub first, then roll out at 2pm to Route 65 in E. Bethel, arr'v'l approx 3pm. The official ride will terminate at Route 65, but most of us will be returning to 47 around 5ish+/-, approximately.

All money goes straight to Joe. If you aren’t a rider, you’re still welcome to join us.
Joe is hoping to be able to participate on the ride, but otherwise, he'll be riding bitch. With Steve. In Steve’s ’68 Olds Riviera. In the front. Where he belongs.
Registration ends at 11:45, kickstands up at 12:00. Be ready, everyone knows how cranky Joe gets when people don't start on time!
Please come and join Joe’s Support Crew! Invite all your riding buddies to go on Joe's ride. $20/bike to help a great guy out and enjoy a beautiful Joe-style meandering ride and stuff his pockets to help defray the hideous expenses of fighting cancer, as well as him enjoying his remaining time as much as possible.

We're also having a full-blown gala benefit on September 28th at Route 47 from 12pm to 7pm. @MadMikesOpenMic has lined up 19 bands (hand-picked by Joe) to perform, so bring ANYONE who likes live music and wants to see the chaos that this show will be. We'll have tickets for the benefit on sale during the ride. All tickets sold, both pre-sale and at the door, will be good for admittance, food, and beer. We’ll also be having a 50/50, a silent auction, and MORE!!!
