Nashville based songwriter, Joe Wunderles music is a mixture of classic country, folk storytelling, cowboy yodeling, lonesome ballads, and western swing. His fingerpicking guitar style and gravely voice steeped in pedal steel, fiddle, banjo, and harmonica create a lonesome yet familiar landscape to set his songs in. Performing all original songs, Wunderles songwriting seems to pull from the well of a long gone era to create timeless new songs in the tradition of the troubadours whod gone before him.With five albums under his belt, Wunderles writing has been compared to the likes of Woody Guthrie, Towns Van Zandt, John Prine and Jimmy Rogers. In the last few years he has toured throughout USA, Europe, and Canada.Joining him this March on tour are Nashville harmonica Virtuoso Ilya Portnov, and pedal steel legend, Nikolai Schweitzer.
