Joe Cangelosi (Can-Jel-Oh-See) is a progressive banjoist from Chicago, originally forming Railroad Thunder as a duo in the Chicago suburbs before evolving it into a full backing band now centered in East Tennessee. Their sound blends country and bluegrass roots with a rock-driven edge, creating a show that keeps the room moving from start to finish.
Expect influences from artists like The Steeldrivers, Tyler Childers, Lonesome River Band, and Billy Strings, mixed with rock inspiration ranging from Grateful Dead to The Allman Brothers Band.
