About this Event
We couldn't be happier to have Jodi Picoult join us on stage this year to talk writing, life, and new projects.
Jodi will be on stage in the Main Auditorium, in cozy conversation with bestselling author (and SDWF founder and Executive Director) Marni Freedman, and award-winning novelist (and our Director of Programming) Anastasia Zadeik.
The auditorium will fill up. If you would like to make sure you get a spot, this is the place to sign up. As the day gets close, you'll get more details by email.
Saturday, March 28, 2026, 2:30 PM. Main Auditorium at the Coronado Public Library and Performing Arts Complex.
Event Schedule:
1:45 PM - Online check-in begins
2:20 - Online check-in ends, stand-by patrons admitted
2:30 - Event begins
3:30-ish - Event ends, signed books available
- Please print out your tickets to expedite the check-in process.
- Late arrivals will be accommodated as space permits.
- Seating in all sections is first-come, first seated.
- The Performing Arts Center is directly behind the Coronado Public Library. You can view a parking map HERE. Parking will be extremely busy on this day. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot.
- There will be a limited amount of stand by seating available on the day of the event. When you arrive at the theater, please look for the stand by seating line. Stand by patrons will be admitted as space permits.
- Jodi will have signed books available for purchase
San Diego Writers Festival 2026 is our seventh annual main event. This year we have 80+ Speakers , 32 Events - all free of charge, and all in one Day. Keynotes, workshops, food vendors, live performances, prizes, and more.

Registration is not required, but it is appreciated. While you’re welcome to drop in, registering in advance helps us plan for seating, materials, and refreshments.
