Join us for an exciting tour of the Children’s Museum in Tacoma, hosted by local non-profit, Greentrike. You’ll dive into job exploration through fun, interactive, and engaging exhibits and learning experiences.
You’ll learn about the incredible perks of volunteering. Volunteering is your secret weapon for job readiness. About our hosts
Greentrike is a non-profit organization that supports existing programming and advocacy for children and youth in Pierce County, Washington. They connect Pierce County’s array of child and youth-focused programs, services, community partnerships, and curriculum-based efforts, to provide pathways to success for children and youth.
COST
FREE! This workshop is free for students active in DSB VR or Pre-ETS Services.
DSB will provide admission costs for one youth and one parent/guardian. Pizza lunch will be served to students and parents afterwards.
WHO
This workshop is ideal for students in the surrounding counties who are Blind, Deaf-Blind, or Low Vision, between the ages of 14 and 22, who are active participants of DSB VR or Pre-ETS Services, and a parent or guardian.
WHEN
Saturday, October 25, 2025, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Please meet the group in the Children’s Museum lobby by 9:45 a.m.

Note: Feel free to use the Pay to Park lot adjacent to the Museum, however, you must cover your parking fees.
