Job Fair: Connecting Westport families with local helpers

It takes a Squad.
Finding a helper you trust is hard. Finding four or five (so someone is available when you need them) is nearly impossible. That's why we're bringing Westport families and local helpers together in one room.
How it works
Helpers will be set up at tables with their qualifications and interests visible to parents. Parents can chat with the helpers and get to know them, their experience and more. If it is a good match, parents can use the QR code in their app to invite helpers to join their Squad.
For parents
Meet 10 - 12 local helpers in one afternoon. Ask about their experience with your kids' ages, driving and transportation, schedule...everything you'd want to know. Leave with a full bench of helpers.
For helpers
Meet several local families looking to hire right now. High school and college students with babysitting or pet sitting experience are welcome. Please live in the area and have at least two references that you are willing to provide. If you are offering to drive kids, please bring your drivers license.
About Squad
Created by a Westport stepmom, Squad is the app where families build their own roster of trusted local helpers. Post a job (babysitting, rides to/from activities, errands) and your whole Squad sees it; the first available helper to accept gets the job.
