Discovered at 16 by Dave Stewart of Eurythmics, Joanne Shaw Taylor quickly became one of today’s most lauded blues-rock artists. Praised by Joe Bonamassa, Stevie Wonder, and Annie Lennox, she is celebrated for her fiery guitar work and her soulful voice. Her 2009 debut album, White Sugar, launched acclaimed albums including Reckless Heart and The Blues Album (No. 1 on Billboard Blues Chart). Recent releases Heavy Soul and Black & Gold blend blues-rock, Americana, and retro pop, continuing to redefine modern blues for audiences worldwide.

Concealed among majestic pine trees and green ferns, the Wildflower Concert Series is held on the grounds of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary in White Mills, Pennsylvania. Please bring along a lawn chair or a blanket. Picnics and beverages of your choice are permitted. In the event of inclement weather, performances may be held at the air-conditioned auditorium of the Wallenpaupack Area High School, Hawley, PA. If in doubt on the day of performance, call 570-253-5500 after 12 p.m.
