Visit Joanna’s Downstairs ‘gallery’ and 2nd floor Open Studio in her quirky High Street home. This free event is an opportunity to buy original artworks direct from the artist; there’ll be a bargain box too!
About Joanna
Joanna has a degree in textile design, and over the years has worked in many fields, including book illustration and printmaking.
Joanna’s style is quite romantic; she creates a world filled with magical characters, strange birds and delicate florals.
As well as teaching art in Stockport schools and Adult Education, Joanna runs local collagraph printmaking classes from Milestones Studio in New Mills. Plus, this year Joanna is coordinator of the New Mills Festival Art Trail.
