Join Jo Malone London and ELLE Decoration for an exclusive evening at WOW!house (Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, Lots Road, London, SW10 0XE) exploring the art of creating atmosphere through the perfect combination of interior design and fragrance.

Taking place within one of London’s most inspiring showcases of contemporary decoration and design, this intimate event invites guests to experience WOW!house through a new sensory lens.

Guided by Jo Malone London’s Head of Fragrance Celine Roux and ELLE Decoration Editor-in-Chief Ben Spriggs, guests will be taken on a specially curated scented tour through a selection of rooms, chosen by Celine and Ben for their distinctive design stories, mood and atmosphere.

At Jo Malone London, scent is an essential part of creating a sense of place. It can set the tone as you enter a room, evoke memory, enhance mood and add an invisible but unforgettable layer to an interior. During the evening, guests will discover how fragrance can bring a space to life, complementing colour, texture, materials and light.

Following the tour, guests will gather on the Terrace for drinks and an intimate discussion with Celine Roux and Ben Spriggs, discussing the relationship between scent, design and the feeling of home.

Guests will enjoy a welcome drink on arrival, drinks during the Q&A, and a gift on departure from Jo Malone London worth over £25 as well as the July/August issue of ELLE Decoration.

Celine Roux’s passion for scent has evolved over 15 years working in fragrance at Jo Malone London. Beginning in makeup innovation in New York and EMEA, her career has spanned all areas of beauty with a particular interest in fragrance. Her path to Jo Malone London seemed like a natural evolution when she joined in 2009.

As an integral part of the Jo Malone London Creative Studio, Celine’s creativity and passion are well known. She has a unique approach to fragrance development by working daily with master perfumers, fully immersing them into the brand’s culture, vision and fragrance philosophy.

She combines her technical expertise with the science and art of fragrance and candle making. This ensures the finest results and upholds the quality synonymous with Jo Malone London.

Celine works to create scents that embody the Jo Malone London signature of elegantly simple constructions with a sense of modernity. She draws constant inspiration from London, where she lives. The city’s eclecticism, its British spirit and unique sense of history combined with contemporary culture is continually fascinating.

For Celine, the job is all-consuming, the smallest detail unlocking a new story or prompting a new scent. She keeps her eyes open and her nose busy, constantly exploring and challenging her senses.

Ben Spriggs is the Editor-in-Chief of ELLE Decoration, the world’s bestselling interiors magazine. With over 20 years’ experience of lifestyle, interiors and design journalism, he has divided his career between newspapers and print magazines.

Having held senior roles at The Sunday Times Style, The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph, Ben has also worked on the UK launch of InStyle and Livingetc. he has spent much of the last twelve years driving the ELLE Decoration brand in the UK and took over the editorship in July 2017.

With an avid interest in contemporary design and décor and an unrivalled reputation, Ben also often gives talks, chairs discussions and acts as a spokesperson for the interiors industry.
