JLF LAWN BOWLS CHARITY DAY 2026

You are warmly invited to the best afternoon of the year!

A fun afternoon on the green talking shop, dishing banter, getting competitive and raising money for two awesome causes that JLF have been involved with for a long time; Toogolawa Schools & Basket Brigade.

DRESSCODE: RELAXED/FRIDAY CASUAL (some have been known to wear costumes).
Broadbeach Bulls club prefer no shoes on the green.

This day always fills up fast so please buy your tickets ASAP!

Your ticket includes 2x drinks and food to keep you fuelled for the competition.

For maximum networking there may be some mixed teams between workplaces however we will aim to keep you in pairs.

The afternoon will go something like this:

1:00PM - Arrive to Broadbeach Bulls Bowls Club, grab a drink, figure our your teams and where you're starting. Food will be out ready to eat from 1:30pm.

1:30PM - Welcome Intro & Debrief on how game and scoring works.

First games commence. The competition is off! It is knockout rounds with a 'closest to pin' competition running alongside for individual prizes.

3 :30/3:45PM - Last Games wrap up and score cards handed in.

4:00PM - All participants 2 x closest to pin 'spider' - everybody bowls same time!

4: 30PM - RAFFLE, AUCTION AND WINNERS ARE ANNOUNCED.

Auction items include; Formula 1 tickets, AFL Medallion Club Tickets, NBL corporate box tickets + + +

Raffle prizes include; Skincare products, hair care products, Day On The Green festival tickets and much more :)

5 :00PM - Formalities over! The party animals and social sparklers traditionally kick on inside and we hear about the rest on Monday!

GOOD TO KNOW:

• Parking at Bowls Club can be hit and miss - allow 10 minutes to find a park in the area if you're driving. Otherwise park in Broadbeach and walk to bowls club (5-7mins).
• Food will be served; sandwiches; chips; pizzas. There is also a restaurant inside the bowls club.
• We recommend bringing a hat - shade is sparse and many have been sunburnt on this afternoon!
• Gold Coast Airshow is taking place whilst we bowl - it's like a front row ticket, it's awesome!
