Hello everybody,
I am excited to announce the next Brunswick Jimmy Jean Memorial Bowlers event is coming up Sunday, August 23rd, 2026 at the Country Club Lanes in Sacramento. The address for the bowling center is: 2600 Watt Ave, Sacramento, CA 95821
The JJMBT follows a similar format as the North State All Stars: A singles tournament where players will bowl 5 games of qualifying over 5 pairs. The lane condition for each event will be a house shot. Handicap is 80% of 230 with a maximum handicap game of 300.
16 players will advance to a modified double-elimination match play playoff bracket. All playoff matches will be 1 game and based on scratch scores. There will be 2 qualifying squads - 9am (fresh oil) and Noon (burn squad). The lanes will be re-oiled for the playoff matches. Entry is $85.00 per squad and is cash only. Squad re-entries are allowed but based on availability.
The tournament will be open to junior players age 14 and older who fill out a consent form and will receive all payments into their SMART account.
We are limiting each squad to 5 players per pair of lanes. Walk-ins will be welcome but reservations are encouraged. Reservations can be made here: https://jjmbt.corsizio.com/

Jimmy Jean Memorial Bowlers Tour
- Tournament format is handicap singles with a scratch playoff bracket
- 5 games of qualifying over 5 pairs of lanes
- 2 squads of qualifying: 9am and Noon. Re-entries allowed if space available.
- Lane condition: house shot
- Tournament handicap is 80% of 230. Maximum handicap of 300 per game.
- Entering average are based on a JJMBT tournament average or the higher composite average of the last 2 seasons bowled with 21+ games + 5% added
- 16 players will advance to the playoff bracket. Players are seeded by scratch series.
- Playoffs are double elimination, based on scratch scores. All playoff matches 1 game and based on scratch scores.
- The tournament will payout with a ratio of 1:3
- Optional brackets and sidepots available
- USBC playing rules will be observed

- JJMBT Rewards: Every tournament pays out the following:
1. 1 free entry ($85.00) to a non casher, drawn at random
2. $50.00 to the highest non cashing 50+ senior, woman, and junior
3. $25.00 gas money for 5 non cashers, drawn at random
4. $40.00 prize for a tournament spectator, drawn at random
