JJL's Craft and Vendor Fair

Welcome back to the JJL's Craft and Vendor Fair! Join us on Sat, Apr 26, 2025 at 9:00 AM at John J Lukancic Middle School for a day of shopping, browsing, and supporting local artisans and businesses.

Explore a wide variety of unique handmade crafts, jewelry, home decor, clothing, and more from talented vendors. Whether you're looking for a special Mother's Day gift or treating yourself, you're sure to find something you love at our fair.

This is a fundraising event for the John J Lukancic Band. The funds raised here help the students go on the annual band trips! This show has no door entry fee, and the band students will be putting on two concerts (times TBD)!

What's New This Year:

This year we will have a few door prizes, we have moved the date closer to Mother's Day, and we will have the band in the gym to play for everyone instead of in the cafeteria! We are adding some new concessions as well. We are also adding a few more 10x6 spaces in the hallway.

We have a team of people that will be out advertising the show, and advertising is going up earlier this year, in addition to the digital advertising that we will be doing. The school has also had the show added to the school calendar since August, so we know this year will be that much better than last!

Vendor information:

• It is important to be very specific in what types of products you sell. We limit the number of each type of product (i.e. jewelry, lotions,etc), so it is best to verify that we are still accepting vendors in your area before you apply for a space by emailing Jennifer at [email protected]. Once you are verified, please click the Get Tickets button, and choose the space and add ons you want, then you will fill out the vendor application.

Entry Fees and Space Sizes:

10x6 Hallway space - $35

10x6 Gym space - $40

10x8 Gym space - $50

10x10 Gym space - $60

Add ons:

10x10 electric - $10*

ALL SIZES corner - $10

Table rental - $15**

*There is no electrical on any size other than 10x10. If you need electrical you must get a 10x10 space. Corner spaces are not necessary for electrical, and a limited number of corner AND electrical spaces are available. If you need both, it is best to verify that before adding both to your order there are any left.

**Tables are 8 feet and will be set up for you in your space before you get to the school for check in. No need to worry on the 10x6 or 10x8 spaces for that size table! The spaces are 10 feet wide, so the eight foot table will fit in just fine! Vendors are to bring their own table coverings.

If tables are not rented, vendors are expected to bring their own tables. A limited number of tables are available.

Each space will have one chair provided, if a second is needed, please email that or put it in the notes section upon submitting.

Food Vendors:

Any vendor that sells consumables that are made in the home, that includes sauces, seasonings, cookies, etc, must have a cottage food or food vendor license from the state of Illinois. You will be asked to provide this via email upon receiving your application. Please do not submit for a space without already having that. Should you need help aquiring that, please visit the Cottage Food Operation | Will County Health Department website.

Concessions:

We will have food and drink concessions at the school for purchase throughout the day. We will once again have student volunteers as food runners so vendors do not need to leave their spaces to stand in line.

Set Up and Tear Down:

Set up Hours on Friday, April 25 5pm - 8pm

Set up Hours on Saturday, April 26 6am - 8:30am

Tear Down Begins at 3pm.

There will be student volunteers to help with both set up and tear down to help vendors carry items to and from their vehicles. Students are not allowed to pack/unpack items.

Terms and Conditions:

Best practice prior to submitting is to email [email protected] and make sure there are still spots for your category. Submitting and paying before verifying can mean you might be denied entry for a closed category.

As this is a fundraising event, all vendors are asked to donate one item around $20 in value, and a tax donation receipt will be provide at check in.

Vendor applications are accepted, pending categories are open, until the event is full, or until 48 hours before the event.

Last check in time is 8:30 am. Any vendor that is not checked in by 8:30 am on Saturday will not be granted entrance and forfeits their space.

Refund Policy:

Refund requests will be honored up until March 25th at 100%

Refund requests from March 26 until April 12th will be honored at 50%

Refund requests after April 12th will not be honored. Though we recoginize that things come up in life, this is a fundraiser and those funds have already been applied towards costs.

**all refunds will be less eventbrite fees as that is paid by the vendor
