Rivertown Runners, our friendly rivals on the other side of the Hudson, have again invited us to join their Jingle Bell Jog in the Rockefeller Park Preserve. It's a festive atmosphere, a scenic locale and a great way to get in some miles before the holidays. Starting at 8:00 AM from the parking lot off Bedford road, the course will be a 7-mile loop with a short break at Swan Lake visitor center. There will be plenty of runners around to make sure you don’t get lost, and shortcuts to reduce the distance to 5 miles if you like.
Holiday attire is encouraged. Bring your jingle bells if you have them (the club has extras if you don't). Rivertown will have post-run drinks and refreshments, but we welcome additional contributions to the food and drink.
