Legendary biographer Jimmy McDonough will be in Chicago to celebrate his new book, Gary Stewart: I Am From the Honky-Tonks. Along with discussing the country music icon, Jimmy will share insights into his other notable subjects and biographies, including Shakey: Neil Young's Biography.

* The Interview: Jimmy will participate in an in-depth conversation hosted by Indiana music veteran Dale Lawrence (The Gizmos, Vulgar Boatmen). They will explore the life of Gary Stewart, the writing of Shakey, and Jimmy's extensive career documenting music history.
* Live Music: Following the interview, enjoy a special live performance of Gary Stewart songs by Margaret Dollrod from the Detroit garage band, Demolition Doll Rods. (Margaret also joined us for our previous West Coast event at Stories in Los Angeles).
* Book Signing: Jimmy will be available to sign copies of Gary Stewart, following the performance.
