On Wednesday April 8th Jim Engle entered the gates of Vahalla. We wanted to give folks time to grieve but also allow folks time to plan a trip to SoIL to honor & remember him.
August 28th-30th we will be hosting a celebration of life weekend at the Youth Group Campground at Giant City State Park.
Camp set up starts Friday at 3:00 p.m. and runs thru Noon on Sunday.
Main Picnic/BBQ/Potluck will be at 2:00 on Saturday
A traditional Norse Blot & Sumbel Ceremony will begin after sunset.
For those who choose to camp, please add $5.00 to cover the cost of rental of the group campsite.
Camping is not mandatory & there are hotels close by.
More details will be added as we get closer to the weekend.
