Jill Barron will be teaching 2 three day clinics at CEP in the spring of 2025 that will be beneficial to those wanting general horsemanship needed to work towards any type of riding, as well as Working Equitation.
Cost for each 3 day clinic, including GST is $830. A non refundable deposit of $170 is due upon registration and 3 equal payments are due prior to the clinic.
Jill's clinics are an amazing 3 days of education and fun. Plan on spending the 3 days riding, watching other ride and walking away with your head full of new skills and knowledge!
Jill has held a life-long passion for horses and education. She has been able to marry her passions, which is a rare occasion. Completing her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Alberta and spending five years in the classroom elevated her teaching skills in the arena. Her love of horses soon won her over, and she traveled the world training horses, spending most of her time in Italy and Australia.
Jill's approach to training horses and riders blends classical techniques and natural horsemanship. She is an incredibly diverse equestrian. Her expertise has won her global accolades, which include the 2019 Andalusian World Cup (Las Vegas) Advanced Working Equitation Championship and the 2017 Haras Cup (Texas) Intermediate Working Equitation Championship. She has etched her name in the realm of Working Equitation and is fortunate to teach clinics and judge in many international destinations. She is the only judge in North America to hold three cards and Canada's only judge.
Jill is also the head clinician for the Calgary Stampede Showriders, an elite team of junior equestrians who travel North America representing the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, The Calgary Stampede. The team has traveled to the prestigious Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, California and the Daddy of 'Em All, Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Jill has a love for horses, horsemanship, and coaching. Her keen attention to detail will ensure you refine your riding skills. Riding with her is certain to be supportive, fun, and highly educational. Give it a try, your horse will thank you!
