In addition to our legendary Paint Sip class at this event at one of our original venues we are delighted to be having our first ever Jigsaw Mania to run hand in hand with our Paint Sip Class.
Think a jigsaw puzzle is just a quiet Sunday afternoon hobby? Think again.
We are stripping away the peace and quiet and turning puzzle-solving into a high-stakes, chaotic, table-flipping team sport. Landing right here in Newcastle, The Jigsaw Party is the ultimate high-energy night out where speed, tactical sabotage, massive tunes, and big prizes collide.
No general knowledge. No staring at a phone screen. Just pure race-against-the-clock panic, incredible banter, and a room full of rivals trying to beat you to the final corner piece.
The Jigsaw puzzles will be anything from masterpieces from Van Gogh or De Vinci to modern cityscapes, animals, underwater, jungles, tropical islands etc.

🏆 How It Works & The Staggered Start
- Assembling the Grid: You and your squad book a designated team table. Every single team in the room gets the exact same, brand-new mystery 300-piece puzzle (or two puzzles for larger teams).
- ⚖️ The Staggered Start (Fair Play Rule): To keep the leader board completely fair, teams start in a staggered way according to team size. Small but mighty pairs get a head start, while the massive mega-squads are held back at the starting line. It’s a handicapped race to ensure ultimate drama right down to the final seconds!
- The Race is On: Once your countdown hits zero, the hands fly, the hit music goes up, and the race is ON.
💥 The Twists: Weaponised Chaos
This isn't just about how fast your hands move—it's about how dirty you play. Every team is armed with Two Sabotage Tokens to deploy against their rivals whenever they want to slow them down: These tokens can be used just once each and only between 45 mins and 75 mins.
- 🙈 The Box Flip (3 Mins Blind): Force a rival table to flip their puzzle box lid upside down. They lose their reference picture entirely and have to solve it completely blind for 3 minutes.
- 🥶 The Hand Freeze (2 Mins Locked): Drop this token to completely freeze a rival team's hands for 2 minutes. They have to sit back, watch the clock tick, and panic while you storm ahead.
- THE TEAM SHUFFLE: Every 15 mins everyone has to move one place to the left within their team. This can cause real disruption !
