KCC is proud to celebrate the extraordinary contributions of the legendary composer, lyricist, and poet Salil Chowdhury (1925 – 1995) with a special centenary tribute organised by Anandapur Salil Chowdhury Birth Centenary Society (ASCBCS).
Jibon Ujjibon: A Centenary Celebration of Salil Chowdhury consists of an exhibition displaying rare photographs and memorabilia, and a seminar featuring renowned musicians, scholars, and artists to discuss Chowdhury’s enduring legacy across 10 languages and multiple musical traditions through engaging discussions and musical performances.
