JFO 4tet - jazz (BE)Just For Once 4tet was born from a single concert, and then decided that was far too little. The quartet – brought together at the Brussels Conservatory – quickly realised it had found a true space for expression.
After a year of concerts in Brussels and Luxembourg, the band is now settling in to record its first album in March 2026 (release planned for June).
Driven by a desire to explore without barriers, JFO 4tet is a meeting ground where personal universes, diverse influences and collective energy merge. Their original compositions blend improvisation, authenticity and intensity into a music without compromise.
Their world remains inventive and open to all audiences, including those who don’t usually listen to jazz. A sensitive, living jazz where you can be carried away even without knowing the codes.
On stage, JFO 4tet plays with the moment, seeks surprise and shares every instant with the audience. Because in the end, if it was “just for once”, then let it be at every concert!
