Jewish Secular Community (JSC) Yom Kippur 2024

Are you looking for a different, more meaningful holiday experience? For over 56 years, our small, close-knit, inclusive community has celebrated Judaism in a secular, non-theistic manner. Our affordable High Holidays are in English, short, and focus on relevant readings rather than traditional prayers. Most are followed by a holiday meal! Location: Shaker Lakes Nature Center

Program: Kol Nidre will be performed at Erev Yom Kippur. We encourage you to bring brief non-theistic readings to share. There will be an opportunity to share memories about deceased loved ones.

Guests: No charge for members. $18 per guest for non-members. No charge for children under 10. Special financial consideration may be requested by contacting the treasurer. Fees can be applied to JSC membership which includes catered Shabbats, speaker series, social events, and other holidays.
