About Artful Moment:
Tracey Nelsen, Founder & CEO of Artful Moment, explores the intersection of natural elements and traditional craft through industrial arts. She believes creating with your hands sparks brainpower, focus, and emotional resilience. Tracey holds a B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota and has exhibited work in Minnesota, NYC, and the Bay Area. She’s also contributed to large-scale projects like Pulse with the Flaming Lotus Girls at Burning Man.

About Teaching Assistant Bess Morin:
Bess Morin is a Los Angeles–based artist whose work is inspired by the natural world and expressed through metalsmithing and visual art. She earned a B.F.A. in Fashion Design from Syracuse University, where she developed an interest metalsmithing, later refining her skills working in jewelry studios in Massachusetts. She moved to Los Angeles and continued working in jewelry studios while studying horticulture and landscape design. Her interest in the relationship between human and environmental health, led to earning a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture in 2023. With professional experience in bench jewelry, metalsmithing, and production management, she is passionate about fostering an encouraging, engaging, and enjoyable learning environment for students.
