Jewelry: Upcycled Knitting Needle Bracelets

Create one-of-a-kind upcycled bracelets from old, mismatched knitting needles. Learn how to bend and stamp your jewelry with special jewelry-making tools. Each participant will make four (4) bracelets in a variety of colors and styles: one hammered & stamped bracelet, one small bangle, and two cuffs. All supplies are included.

Avery serves as 577’s Community Engagement Coordinator. She holds a degree in English Creative Writing and a minor in sustainability. She is passionate about conservation, sustainability, and finding creative ways to reduce waste through art. Avery especially enjoys teaching upcycled art projects that transform discarded materials into unique treasures with a second life.
Lindsay has been knitting and crocheting for more than 20 years and discovered loom knitting just over 10 years ago. She is passionate about creating and donating projects for local charities and is always up for chatting about all things fiber arts when she’s working in 577’s Welcome Center and Curiosity Shop.
