Our Jewelry Basics Class is a 2 day session from 9-5 on a Saturday and Sunday. It is an intensive session of the 4 skill sets that will be pre-requisites for some of our more advanced classes. We will also offer the 4 classes individually at different times, if that works better for you.You will learn:
Basic tool safety, wire working for connecting, texturing, forming, assembling, soldering, sawing, piercing and how to finish your pieces for a professional look.
All tools and materials will be provided.
No experience necessary and this will complete all the pre-requisites that will be needed in future advanced classes and to participate in Open Studio times.
You will need to bring:
Notebook for your notes
Magnification/Reading glasses for close up work-this is super important, it is necessary to see small, fine detail
Please wear closed toe shoes and pants for safety
Class date - February 21 & 22
Time: 9-5 pm, we will break an hour for lunch. You are welcome to bring your lunch or go to one of our many local restaurants near the shop.
Class size - 6
Cost - $450
Cancellation Policy - Cancellation up to 1 week before the weekend. You can get a refund or switch to a different session.
