Hailing from the Netherlands, accordion songstress Jet Black Pearl has performed in big tops, prisons, living rooms, tunnels, garden sheds, barges, and ancient ruins across the globe. She spent many years in France—long enough to earn a few French songwriting awards (mais oui!)—before relocating to Portland, Oregon. These days she sings in English and French… always with a Dutch accent.Her wacky songs are a mad hatter’s European party with a funky attitude. Before your very eyes, she creates grooves and loops of flute, plastic bottles, rubber pigs, vocal percussion and harmonies, while squeezing her accordion. She also might do a little dance for you. But watch your own feet... they're already wiggling!
