Jesus Was a Migrant Community Screening
Join us for a community screening of "Jesus Was a Migrant," a 2026 documentary short by Dr. Jemar Tisby and Tisby Studios that examines Christian responsibility toward migrants and challenges anti-immigrant sentiment through a theological lens. Jesus Was a Migrant, which premiered April 9, 2026, in Los Angeles, highlights stories from the U.S.-Mexico border, framing Jesus' life as a model for welcoming strangers. The film's director, Lauren Vernea, will conduct an in-person Q&Q after the screening.
