Tango Mountain: how to create interdependence without codependence
In this 90-minute workshop, we will explore what makes tango unique and different from other social dances — the intense and persistent amount of improvisation! Improvising requires stability, autonomy, and high levels of sensitivity to our partner. We will train our sensitivity and test our improvisation acumen with the mountain exercises. Come prepared to have fun and use play to perfect our dance technique.
Lesson 7:30-9:00pm at The Hunter Club, warm up from 7pm, Practica afterwards until 10:30pm.
Cost: £15
Location: The Hunter Club Arts Centre, 6 St Andrew's Street S, Bury Saint Edmunds IP33 3PH. Free parking on St Andrew's Street S after 6pm.
