Join us to welcome local author Jessica Goeke in conversation with fellow local author Rachel Michelle Wilson (TO CATCH A GHOST) and celebrate the launch of Jessica's new darkly funny picture book BILLY AND THE HOLE!ABOUT THE BOOKS:
BILLY AND THE HOLE by Jessica Goecke
One day, Billy found a hole.
It wasn't there yesterday.
But there it was, right in his favorite spot, under his favorite tree.
This hole in the ground is no ordinary hole in the ground. For it speaks to Billy with a voice that's cold and hard, like ancient stone. At first, the hole in the ground is polite and kind, and tells Billy how clever he is. And, well, Billy just can't resist his new odd friend and their nice words. But when the hole's requests grow more extreme, and Billy can't always meet them--Billy will have to take matters into his own hands before his new friend takes matters into theirs.

TO CATCH A GHOST by Rachel Michelle Wilson
Bringing nothing to show and tell is like wearing shoes without socks.
It stinks.
So, when all you got is nothing, you need to catch yourself a something.
And if you’ve got gumption, that something could be a ghost.
Show-and-tell isn’t for the faint of heart, so grab your camera, flashlight, and backpack -- it’s time to catch yourself a ghost! Once you find a good one, spend some quality time together. This will provide all the information you need to build the perfect ghost trap. It will also probably complicate things. So, when the moment finally arrives, you may be confident you can catch a ghost...but can you catch a friend?
