Jessee Lee and Cameron Wrinkle are a prominent country and Americana songwriting duo based in Nashville, Tennessee. They frequently collaborate on original music and tour together, performing acoustic shows, writer's rounds, and "song swaps" across the country.
A soulful songstress, Jessee Lee is a Nashville recording artist and Texas based touring act known for her sharp pen, soulful voice, and genre-blending sound. At 27, she brings her unique Vintage-Country-Soul sound to stages across the country.
Jessee has shared the stage and opened for artists like Pure Prairie League, Darryl Worley, Radney Foster, William Beckmann, and Kix Brooks, and has performed at iconic venues including Gruene Hall, Luckenbach Dancehall, John T. Floore’s Country Store, and the AT&T Stadium. Her festival appearances span across the country from the Key West Songwriter Festival to Montana’s Forever West Fest.
Jessee grew up in Franklin, Tennessee but in 2015, when she was 17 years old, her family decided to move back to Texas, which was home for both of her parents. After a short stint in college pursuing a nursing degree in College Station, Texas, Jessee decided to throw herself into her true passion - music. At 20 years old, Jessee began cutting her teeth in the Hill Country of Texas playing dive bars, motorcycle clubs, wineries, and beer gardens. Jessee's first album, "Dive Bar Superstar", reflects her early years as a broke musician and the life lessons you learn in your early 20's.
Jessee Lee has earned a spot in Texas, as well as Nashville, Tennessee, as one of the best up-and-coming female singer-songwriters in the scene. She had two songs from her first album chart on Texas Radio, "Where He Ain't" and "Dive Bar Superstar", she has won awards such as "Songwriter of the Year" at the TIR awards, and she came in first place at the Gruene Studios Songwriter Competition in Gruene, TX.
Being the daughter of Grammy-nominated and Texas Hall of Fame songwriter, David Lee, Jessee grew up immersed in the Nashville songwriting scene. Her father taught her the craft of storytelling and finding her sound from a young age, laying the foundation for the emotionally resonant, lyrically rich music she creates today.
In addition to her solo career, Jessee has been a dedicated part of Operation Song since 2022, writing with veterans battling PTSD and addiction at Warrior’s Heart Rehab. These sessions have deepened her commitment to the healing power of songwriting and expanded her work beyond the stage.
Cameron Wrinkle is a 5th generation musician from Tuscola, Texas. Cameron spent his high school years writing songs and working as a ranch hand. Shortly after graduating he packed up and headed for Nashville, TN and spent several years there learning the craft of writing. Although you can take the boy out of Texas, you can’t take Texas out of the boy; Cameron is now working as an independent Texas artist playing live shows all over the US. Traditional country, Texas red dirt, and a rock flare shape Cameron’s energetic, cowboy-influenced show. His set features classic country covers plus original material co-written with hit Nashville writers. He has shared the stage with artist like Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, Tracy Byrd, Lorrie Morgan, Pam Tillis, The Oakridge Boys, Chris Cagle, Wilder Blue, Ward Davis, Bryan Martin, Etc.
Cameron’s first album, In My Heaven, was released on October 20, 2023.
