Jesse Roper is a blues/Americana artist from Victoria, BC, known for his fiery live shows and indie-infused blues sound. A gifted guitarist and songwriter, Roper has shared stages with icons like Booker T. Jones, Beth Hart, Colin James, and Burton Cummings. His powerful performances and dynamic stage presence make it hard to believe he once battled stage frightโ€”now, he owns every room he plays.
His latest album Horizons, produced by JUNO-nominated Gus van Go, marked a creative high point, blending vintage soul and modern edge. His recent single "Make It All Work Out" charted nationwide, and follow-up track "Throw This Rope" channels the spirit of JJ Cale and The Teskey Brothers while remaining uniquely Roper.
A natural storyteller, Roper crafts songs full of grit, heart, and soul. Whether delivering a slow burn or tearing up the stage with blistering guitar solos, Jesse Roper brings passion and personality to every note.
