Jesmonite Coasters at the Majestic Darlington

A community craft workshop where you will make 2 coasters out of jesmonite. You will be shown how to mix the jesmonite, add your choice of dyes to make your unique piece and pour the mix into your choice of mould. Jesmonite is a composite material consisting of a mineral-based powder combined with a water-based acrylic resin. Jesmonite is widely used as a versatile, durable, and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional plaster and resin-based materials. Your item will be ready to take home with you at the end of the session. Suitable for any level of crafter. Anyone under the age of 18 needs to be accompanied by a paying adult. Minimum age 12 years. This community workshop is subsidised with grant funding from the National Lottery Community Fund. What's included - all materials.
