Jersey City Connects | Cemetery Clean Up (May) | Volunteer in Jersey City

Ready to make a difference in your community? 🌟 We've teamed with Dancing Tony for our volunteer event: a park clean-up at the cemetery! And we want YOU to be part of this incredible experience!

🗓 Date: Saturday, May 9

🕒 Time: 9AM to 11PM

📍 Location: Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery - 435 Newark Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07302

WHAT TO EXPECT

We’ll be working on a variety of outdoor tasks, including:

• Removing weeds
• Picking up trash and debris
• Planting trees and garden maintenance
• Mowing and W**d-whacking
• General clean-up to help restore the grounds

We’ll be providing all the tools and equipment you need.

WHAT TO WEAR

• Long pants and closed-toe shoes (to help avoid ticks and poison ivy)
• Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• Sunscreen and bug spray (apply beforehand!)
• A hat or sunglasses for sun protection
