Jerry Fish, the legendary Irish indie artist and showman, is returning with Dreaming of Daniel, his first LP in 15 years, featuring MayKay from Fight Like Apes. The album, set for release in November 2024, is a tribute to the late Daniel Johnston, showcasing Johnston's songs with a personal and infectious joy that mirrors Jerry's live performances.
Jerry, known for his energetic and theatrical shows, first gained fame as the frontman of An Emotional Fish in the 1990s. Today, he’s synonymous with festival culture, especially with his Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow at Ireland's Electric Picnic. This winter, Jerry embarks on the Dreaming of Daniel tour, combining new album songs with his hits in a celebratory blend of music, theatre, and carnival spirit.
