About this Event

Minnesota's music ecosystem is evolving. Organizations across our state are finding new ways to adapt, collaborate, and support artists. We believe this is an important moment to bring together the people who shape and strengthen that ecosystem.

The Jerome Foundation and Minnesota Public Radio invite you to join a conversation with composers, music makers, presenters, producers, venue leaders, educators, and arts organizations from across Minnesota on Monday, August 10 at MPR headquarters.

This convening is designed as a space to listen, learn from one another, and explore how we can strengthen Minnesota's music ecosystem together. Participants will bring different experiences and perspectives, creating an opportunity to better understand where the field is today and where it could go in the future.

Together, we will explore questions such as:

· How is Minnesota's music ecosystem evolving, and what opportunities are emerging for artists, presenters, and organizations?

· What is needed to foster a vibrant and sustainable music ecosystem for the future?

· Where do you see opportunities for greater collaboration, innovation, or shared support?

· If we were to gather again one year from now, what meaningful progress would you hope to see? Looking ahead ten years, what would a thriving Minnesota music ecosystem look like?

No single organization or perspective holds the full picture. Your experience is an important part of understanding how we can collectively support a vibrant future for music in Minnesota.
