Saturday 15 August | 2PM – 10PM | BirminghamBirmingham — get ready to raise your Jamaican flag high.The Jerk Festival is back for its fourth year and bigger than ever, bringing the ultimate day-to-night celebration of music, food and island vibes to the city. Expect non-stop energy, unbeatable Caribbean street food and ice-cold Guinness Punch flowing from start to finish.This year we celebrate 64 years of Jamaican Independence with a stacked line-up, carnival flavours and a warehouse party atmosphere you won’t want to miss.Birmingham — this is more than a festival.
It’s flavour. It’s culture. It’s a community. It’s pure island energy.


HEADLINE ACTS & MUSIC

We’re bringing serious sound system heritage and party starters to Birmingham:

  • Channel One Soundsystem
  • Jamie Rodigan (son of Sir David “Ram Jam” Rodigan) + Special Guests

Plus club vibes from Birmingham’s finest DJs dropping:

From roots reggae to bashment, UKG to R&B — this is Birmingham’s biggest independent Jamaica Independence celebration of the summer.


FOOD, DRINK & ISLAND FLAVOURS

Come hungry.We’re serving up flavours from the UK’s top Caribbean & BBQ Jerk traders, with authentic dishes cooked fresh all day long. Expect smoky jerk, carnival favourites and sweet island treats.At the bar:

  • Rum Punch
  • Guinness Punch
  • Jamaican Beer
  • Fully stocked Rum Bar

It’s a full feast of Caribbean culture — perfect for a summer day in Digbeth.


FAMILY FUN (2PM – 7PM)

From 2PM to 7PM, it’s all ages — bring the whole family!

  • FREE face painting for kids
  • FREE whistles & horns for the first 100 people
  • Outdoor eating area
  • Warehouse party vibes
  • Main music and DJ stage

Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.


THE CLOSING CLUB NIGHT (7PM – 10PM | 18+ ONLY)

When the sun goes down, the energy goes up.From 7PM, the festival transforms into an 18+ Jamaica Independence Closing Club Night. Expect high-energy dancehall, hip-hop, grime, Afrobeats, lovers rock, soca, revival reggae, R&B, Hip Hip and more + Club Dancers.This after-party? Absolutely shelling down.

  • 2PM–10PM: Over 18s only. Under 18s cannot attend the evening session.
  • Ticket covers entry only. Food & drink sold separately.
  • Vendors cannot guarantee specific dietary requirements — please check directly with traders.
  • Photography and filming will take place. Attendance confirms consent for promotional use.
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
