Voices in the Heights is proud to announce the launch of our satellite concert series in Nyack, New York in collaboration with ArtsRock and the Angel Nyack.
Join us on Sunday, September 7 at 4pm at the Art Angel, 18 South Broadway in Nyack as we welcome Jeremy Aaron and Kirsten Maxwell to our stage.
Jeremy Aaron is a Nyack native who creates intimate songs exploring modern society, love, and universal challenges. His poetic style blendscjazz, soul, pop, and folk with rich guitar and fiddle work. Aaron has performed solo and with bands Spuyten Duyvil and Gangstagrass at venues and festivals nationwide.
Kirsten Maxwell is a dynamic acoustic singer-songwriter known for powerful vocals and expertly crafted songs. She has toured with Judy Collins and opened for Melissa Etheridge, Tanya Tucker, and The Bacon Brothers. In 2020, Maxwell was selected as one of five artists to receive a grant from Joe's Pub Working Group.
