Southern Pup is an amazing organizationbased out of Mississippi. Their goal is so rehabilitate and re-home abused or dumped dogs.
They do amazing work ranging from adopting over a thousand dogs from the south to homes in New England, sending volunteers to southern fosters, educating people, and donating foods to local pantries.
I am putting together my FOURTH solo run-a-thon to raise money and awareness for their amazing organization and help them get the funds needed to further their impact.
What will I do?
I’ll begin to run on May 8th at 8am and will continue to pack on the miles for 48 hours by running, walking or crawling-basically any way except for using wheels.
What can you do?
I’m hoping to raise $5000 for them. This is where you come in. I am asking my family, friends, acquaintances or even people who believe in what I’m doing to do one of the following:
-Pledge x amount per mile I run (I THINK I can get 150 miles in 48 hours) So if you pledge .25 per mile and I reach my goal of 150 miles then your donation would be $37.50.
-Pledge a flat amount instead of per mile.
-Join me for the night time, join for at Wompatuck on Saturday- whatever you’d
like to challenge yourself and help me raise some money.
