East Coast songwriter stars in an extraordinary multimedia show at BlueShore at CapU, March 7.Acclaimed Canadian artist Jenn Grant invites audiences into an unforgettable new world with Cradled by the Waves, a ground-breaking live tour that transforms her forthcoming album, Queen of the Strait, into a stunning multimedia performance blending music, film, theatre, and dance. Grant’s most personal work to date, Queen of the Strait draws from her childhood in Prince Edward Island and the timeless pull of the Atlantic. The live experience reimagines those songs in motion - a moving meditation on grief, transformation, and the beauty of beginning again.
Each show is an immersive, cinematic experience, featuring a six-piece band, curated film sequences, and interpretive movement. Together, these elements create a dreamlike landscape where the songs flow seamlessly into one another.

Halifax, Nova Scotia-based Jenn Grant is a three-time Juno-nominated singer-songwriter, whose music has been described as “the aural equivalent of a warm embrace” (Pop Matters) and “dreamy, harp-and-woodwinds folk, the work of a painter born in paradise” (The Age, AU). With eight albums to date, she has earned widespread recognition for her ethereal sound and evocative storytelling.
